What will you do?
As an Application Support Specialist, you will ensure problem-free operation of the selected business critical applications. Working dynamically 24/5 while receiving an assistance of the 3rd level IT experts when dealing with major issues, makes the entire team capable of prompt reactions to all occurring incidents. That said, you will be at the head of ticket queue management, applications monitoring as well as general requests processing coming from the internal customers.
Other responsibilities include the following:
- Ensuring the smooth operation of Global Applications, which support the business processes of Heidelberg Materials
- Proactive monitoring of dashboards, where you can see the status of applications
- Check selected critical systems and applications before the start of business hours for a given part of the world
- Managing user accounts and accesses
- Maintaining and updating knowledge base
- Cooperating with the internal teams on task transitions
