Data Governance Analyst

What you will do –

• Identify and document the business rules, processes, systems, applications, and data flows in the business processes

• Own and document data artifacts – process flows, system specs, KPI definitions, lineage, BRDs, design plan, tables, logics

• Responsible for developing a business and data governance framework to capture any change in the business process and data

• Develop test data, validate production data files, log and retest defects and execute test cases in both a manual and automated environment

• Guide the entire data team with business, system knowledge and guide them in right direction

• Work as a key contributor to increasing the speed and quality of key deliverables

• Leverage defect metrics to help improve development and testing practices

What you will bring –

• 2 + years of experience as Business Analyst / Quality Analyst / Data Steward analyzing data, business requirements and systems

• Ability to link data to definition, to tables to systems to source to the business process

• Great hands-on documentation with business processes, flow charts, designs, mappings

• Experience with data governance frameworks and ability to manage data as an asset

• Good knowledge of SQL, databases, JIRA, Confluence, MS Word, Excel, Test case and quality management frameworks

• A degree in Computer Science / Information Technology /MBA

• Fluent communication skills in English both written and verbal

• Team player who can share experience with the team and grow them technically
