Account Manager - German

Are media and digital marketing your passion? Would you like to challenge yourself in a fast-paced B2B marketing agency in a role with lots of responsibility and taking care of several things at once? If yes, our client, the largest independent global B2B marketing agency is looking for an Account Manager (m/f/d) in Germany. The Account Manager will assist the Account Director in a number of key projects to deliver the best solutions and ensuring everything is completed on time, on budget and at an exceptionally high standard.

What will be your key responsibilities:

  • Managing daily campaign/programme production from initial brief through to final approval and roll out including coordination with all internal and external stakeholders to provide feedback and delivering actions and activities within budget
  • Supporting the Account Director, team and departments with marketing campaign/programme briefings, planning, inspiring ideas, and recommendations
  • Managing timelines and project plans, providing regular updates to your team and to clients to manage expectations and achieve deadlines
  • Organising, preparing, and participating in client meetings, briefings, and workshops, keeping detailed notes of key actions and responsibilities to update contact and status reports
  • Supporting the Account Director with the creation of briefs, budget estimates, timelines, client proposals, pitch responses and presentations
  • Helping to build and strengthen key client relationships and trusted working relationships with agency departments from creative studio and copywriters to planners and finance – anyone associated with getting the best work done

What experience should you have:

  • Fluent in both written and spoken German
  • Experience in Marketing either in an agency or client side
  • Prior experience with digital and social media would be advantageous but not required
  • Proven success in completing multiple projects and programmes on time
  • Commercial experience and strong business knowledge
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a way that promotes partnership, teamwork, and trust
