Commercial Director

At L’Oréal Luxe, the mission is to bring all women and men the best luxury products and beauty experience to feel beautifully confident. As Commercial Director for the Hub of 3 countries, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, and Hungary based in Prague, and a member of the Luxe Management Committee, your main responsibility is to set up and implement the L’Oréal Luxe Commercial strategy to achieve business results in Turnover and Profit, Market share and Visibility.

What will be your key responsibilities:

  • Develop the Commercial omnichannel strategy of the division for our portfolio of 7 Luxe brands and 3 categories (Fragrances, Make-up, Skincare) optimizing growth and investments, ensuring the construction of timely, mutually beneficial Business Plans with our clients, and identifying new growth channels opportunities
  • Drive the profitability of the accounts (P & L) and follow up on return-on-investment/Revenue growth management and gross margin. Responsible for the Division commercial P&L (Minorations, net sales, trade marketing, SG&A, Retail, A&P, and REX).
  • Ensure the overall achievement of the division results: turnover, market share, and profit.
  • Lead all negotiations with offline and online retailers on key launches, activity plans, the share of the space, the share of assortment, and stock management
  • Establish and develop partnerships and strong relationships with key stakeholders and conduct quarter business reviews
  • Ensure the implementation of brand strategies and action plans: drat the brand‘s commercial strategy in line with the marketing priorities and ensure respect for selectivity criteria.

Identify best practices in the commercial field and develop shared methodologies and tools to foster retail excellence.

  • Build an efficient organization and ensure good communication flows between stakeholders (internally and externally). Cascade the division‘s strategic vision to all field teams.
  • Build, develop and manage a team of Key Account Managers, Business analysts, and Retail and Field teams in the Czech Republic, Slovakia, and Hungary, in line with - L’Oréal’s simplicity values, promoting a working environment of cooperation, entrepreneurship, engagement, and enablement.
  • Define team KPIs and incentives in line with division priorities and top opportunities to ensure team delivery of sales results.

What experience should you have:

  • 10 years of experience in Commercial & Luxe / FMCG environments
  • Min: 5 years of experience with team management
  • University degree


  • Strategic thinker with extensive knowledge of commercial strategy
  • Ability to envision long-term market potential and translate it into clear and identifiable goals
  • Experience in large team management
  • Strong influencing and communication skills
  • Extensive rigor and excellent analytical skills
  • Strong commercial skills (business drivers, negotiation, turnover, and profit optimization…)
  • Ability to develop customer-centric business plans and nurture relationships with clients
  • Strong resilience and determination
