We are looking for a Senior Java developer with a passion in microservices that is eager to jump in on a new project. If you are an effective team player that is able to work independently with agile methodology and tools, this opportunity might be for you!

Responsibilities:

• Providing expertise in the full software development lifecycle, from concept and design to testing
• Creation of well designed, testable, efficient code
• Developing, implementing and maintaining Java based applications
• Main focus on the development of back-end microservice application
• Providing end-to-end technical support and problem resolution
• Working in DevOps environment (you build it, you run it)
• Mentor less experienced colleagues with their tasks
• Participate in circular on-call duties together with other team members

Tools that we use:

• Java 17, SpringBoot, Ignite, Kafka,PostgresSQL
• Jira, Confluence
• Git, Bitbucket
• SonarQube, Slack, Teams

• 3+ years of professional experience as a Java Developer
• Knowledge of Java 17, Spring Boot Framework
• Knowledge of Apache Kafka is a must
• Knowledge of Kubernetes, Openshift or similar platform is an advantage
• High focus and a natural ability to deliver
• Experience with developing REST APIs and OpenAPI/Swagger

Good to have

• Experience in GIT (or other version control tools), Bitbucket and GitHub
• Experience with technology message brokers (RabbitMQ) 
• Experience with agile development or DevOps
