HEAD OF HR SSC/EMEA

Marelli is a giant within the automotive industry. The brand has been created by the merger of Magneti Marelli and Calsonic Kansei last year. They are opening 3 shared service centers around the globe, Slovakia, China, and Mexico.

At this stage, Marelli is looking for the right person to take over HR SSC operations and to participate in strategic decisions regarding the centralization of the HR processes in the EMEA region. You would have free hands in decision-making with the support of a project management team and an external consulting company.

You will be:

  • participating in the implementation of HR SSC TOM (Target operating model) for the EMEA covering SSC organization
  • running a successful and stable HR Shared Services organization in EMEA
  • provide leadership to a current senior management team and HR SCC operations
  • preparing for the launch in terms of knowledge transfers, process documentation, and support in country-specific and regional change management

What will be your key responsibilities:

YOUR DUTIES WILL INCLUDE:
  • lead and run the HR SSC on a daily basis; manage service model, structure & skills, end to end processes & SLAs, governance & compliance frameworks, tools, partnership
  • manage the transition from “As is” to “To Be” in all the before mentioned areas
  • closely work with the Finance Shared Service Center for all payroll and reporting related matters
  • closely work with the Centers of Excellence Legal and Compensation & Benefits with regard to matters affecting the HR Shared Service Center
  • closely work with HR teams in other countries to identify and implement synergies across the full ecosystem HR services landscape on board other affiliates onto the HR SSC at the right time
  • Payroll, HR Admin and Mobility processes across different international entities/international personnel (approx. 15 countries in EMEA region- approx. 60 FTE´s - Standard European languages)

What experience should you have:

  • ENGLISH C1+ IS A MUST
  • EXTENSIVE/EXPERT LEVEL KNOWLEDGE OF HR SSC PROCESSES
  • PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE/ RESPONSIBILITY FOR - HR SSC PROCESSES FOR THE REGION
  • NATURAL DESIRE TO LEAD A TEAM OR/AND TRACK OF RECORD IN LEADING A TEAM OF 3 TOWER HEADS – Payroll, On-boarding, Employee Administration, etc.
  • WELL-ORGANIZED, RELIABLE, and GOAL ORIENTED PERSON WHO PERFECTLY DEAL WITH STRESSFUL SITUATIONS
  • OPEN-MINDED PERSON FOCUSED ON CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT
