Project Manager

What will be your key responsibilities:

OKIN Process is a leading company that provides business process services in the field of IT and telecommunications. We offer our clients a wide range of services, from administrative support to highly sophisticated solutions. These are being delivered by employees in three delivery centers in Ostrava, Prague and San Antonio to our customers from both the European and global markets.

Now, we are looking to bring onboard a professional to strengthen our team with
a Project Manager role for our branch in Ostrava. With the support of our highly experienced management and colleagues, you will enjoy global collaboration with international teams mainly EMEA and US.
As the Project Manager for OKIN Process, you will play a significant role in managing all project aspects in the defined scope. You will be responsible for transition of new services and/or implementation of IT systems. You will cooperate with a project team on a daily basis to complete all project tasks. You will communicate with various departments within the company as well as all third-party vendors. We expect you to be familiar with the IT environment and have past project management experience that will support the growth of our department and company.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Practiced good project management methodology – mainly Waterfall model
  • Responsible for service transition and/or system implementation
  • Daily cooperation with internal delivery teams as well as customer teams.
  • Utilizing comprehensive risk mitigation techniques to ensure successful outcome.
  • Understand the need to control budget.
  • Focused on saving costs through efficiencies.
  • Understand the difficult compromise that is needed between cost-quality-timing.
  • Capable of leading a portfolio of projects, able to prioritize workload accordingly.

What experience should you have:

REQUIREMENTS
  • Experience in project management - preferably transition projects and/or system implementation projects in IT field.
  • Fluent in English - daily communication with team members in the USA.
  • Good customer liaison, able to set expectations from outset and provide continuous communication through the lifecycle of the project being worked.
  • Capable of escalating diplomatically within customer business if required.
  • Active person who is not afraid to work independently and is willing to hold accountability and responsibility for deliveries.
  • Strong initiative and desire to work in a team-oriented environment including remote collaboration.
  • Focused on customer satisfaction, understanding their requirement, and ensuring delivery excellence on all projects, excelling their expectations.
  • This position is available also for non-Czech speakers
