SALES DIRECTOR

Hospitality Sales Director wanted!

What will be your key responsibilities:

  • Sales Director is responsible for maximizing a revenues by developing programmes to increase occupancy and make profitable use of its accommodation, meeting, leisure and other facilities
  • The manager must maintain awareness of the factors that influence the hospitality part of the company and gain a deep understanding of the needs and attitudes of a customers
  • A manager will be responsible for coordinating marketing and promotional activities to meet customer needs, working closely with other staff to ensure customers are satisfied with the facilities and their time there
  • The Sales and/or marketing team has a substantial influence on the profitability of the business
  • He or she have to define roles that reflect the strengths of your products and assign responsibilities for achieving the sales performance required by the company
  • When your marketing strategy builds on the roles taken on by the members of your team, they can set achievable targets and take responsibility for meeting their objectives
  • Successfully promoting and managing the brand
  • Working with advertising agencies
  • Managing relationships with agencies and partners
  • Overseeing budgets for advertising, marketing, and promotions
  • Monitoring competition
  • Supervising the Marketing and Sales Department staff
  • Generating new ideas for customer incentives and accommodation or business packages and other sales and marketing duties
  • Analyzes current client base or target market for the hotel
  • Devises new ways to expand that client base.
  • Develops promotional and advertising materials for the hotel.
  • Reaches out to organizations and businesses that might require a hotel for conferences and events
  • Networks with wedding planners and special event planners to encourage hotel bookings
  • Designs and advertises special group rates and packages to increase larger bookings
  • Overcomes hesitations of clients to close a sale
  • Manages accounts of high-profile clients
  • Processes payments and applies discounts as necessary.
  • Addresses and resolves any issues or complaints regarding sales or marketing

What experience should you have:

Experience in hospiptality business is a MUST

Demonstrates strong organizational skills.

Exhibits excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.

Is willing and able to travel to establish and maintain client networks.

Demonstrates ability to think creatively and analytically.

Is capable of creating and maintaining a large client network.

Demonstrates familiarity with budget software and financial management.

Communicates clearly and effectively.

Possesses strong leadership skills.

Is familiar with the workings of the hotel and hospitality industry.

Demonstrates strong persuasive and negotiation skills.

Works well with a variety of different individuals.
