Senior QA engineer with Automation

We are seeking an experienced and energetic, forward-thinking professional to join our Information Technology group in Prague. The ideal candidate is an automation-oriented professional with experience web testing, understanding of databases, API, and integration testing. 

Responsibilities: 

Work closely with the development team to ensure that all stories within the development sprint are verified, testing scenarios are prepared. 

Write test cases and scenarios for all features being developed. 

Review and prioritize test cases with the development team. 

Pick up tasks from the Senior Quality Lead and automate them. 

Write reusable code to reduce the waste of maintenance. 

Report, track, and manage defects throughout the software development lifecycle. 

Communicate the status of quality assurance activities to project stakeholders. 

Conduct manual and/or automated testing, including but not limited to web testing, database testing, API testing, and integration testing. 

Ensure that all testing is done on agreed time. 

Requirements: 

5+ years of experience in quality assurance for IT 

Strong communication skills 

Knowledge of Agile software development methodologies 

Experience in web testing, database testing, and integration testing 

Experience in the Robot Framework and executing automation daily in CI/CD fashion in Jenkins and Dockers. 

Ability to read Epics and Features written by business to understand business requirements and set up feature test plans. 

Experience in writing and executing test cases and scenarios. 

Ability to manage defects and communicate the status of quality assurance activities to project stakeholders.
