We are looking for a new member for our existing team of Senior Buyers! Are you someone skilled in negotiations and willing to take part in a new project within an international company?
Our client is a leading player in the telecommunication field with a fast-growing business center in Bratislava.

What will be your key responsibilities:

You, as a Senior Tactical Buyer will provide services in the area of procurement focused on global procurement activities:
  • Perform complex administrative tasks in the area of global procurement (approval of purchase requests, orders, etc.).
  • Perform supplier selection within the defined clip level
  • Monitor / manage procurement-related processes and brings process improvements
  • Communicate and support internal customers and other parties by complex procurement-related cases
  • Prepare the supplier preselection based on the defined preffered supplier list and as well identifies new potential suppliers
  • Manage independently big and complex tenders and quote requests, performs supplier preselection as well as perform negotiations with suppliers
  • Ensure compliance of workflows and processes with established corporate policies
  • Perform independently final supplier selection (within defined procurement strategies) and contract closings within defined clip level
  • Manage independently the negotiations and closings of contracts, frame contracts as well as other tasks connected with the contract life cycle and usage in systems
  • Claim-Management for contracts and provide analysis of findings in order to suggest and implement corrective measures
  • Support in projects through independent management of assigned tasks
  • Supplier management in the assigned category
  • Identify cost optimization potential and proposes measures for saving improvements
  • Identify improvements and provide comprehensive feedback to the global procurement strategy to the strategic sourcer

What experience should you have:

What do we expect from our future colleague?
  • At least 5+ years of experience in procurement or similar area (for example experience with project management, sales, negotiation)
  • Experience from an international service center is an advantage
  • SAP experience is a big plus
  • Fluency in English (other language is a big plus)
  • Flexibility and ability to work under pressure
  • Proactive approach
  • Strong level of responsibility, independence and personality with a high level of motivation
  • Ability to work in a team as well as individually
  • Open to regular communication, effort to lead problems to a successful solution
  • Experience with negotiation
  • Ability to perform tasks according to schedule and quality requirements
  • Willingness to constantly learn and share knowledge in the team, apply lessons-learned, bring suggestions for process improvements• • High knowledge about the market, products and suppliers in the respective material category
