Responsible for the management of the Quality Assurance and Auditing P&L, and delivery of agreed annual departmental goals,
Participate in the departmental budgeting process,
Manage and deliver on agreed revenue and profitability targets,
Develop departmental strategy in line with company vision and mission, and the annual goals that are set by the Board,
Participate in Board meetings upon request and present on the department strategy, issues, challenges, and plans,
As member of the Senior Leadership Team (SLT), actively contribute to the management of the business,
Responsible for the development of the commercial services for Quality Assurance and Auditing within Arriello’s target markets and customer segments,
Work closely with other billing departments to create synergies and cross-selling opportunities,
Lead, build and develop the Quality Assurance and Auditing team,
Act internally and externally as strategic partner towards industry peers and clients.
What will be your key responsibilities:
The VP of QA and Auditing Services is responsible for leading and managing Arriello’s Quality Assurance and Auditing department. Using their experience in managing service delivery teams, they will develop and establish Arriello as a leading service provider in the market.
Develop and define Arriello’s GxP service offering and value proposition,
Develop Arriello’s service delivery capabilities, including both personnel recruitment and vendor / contractor relationships,
Support the development of Arriello’s commercial and marketing strategy and tactical implementation plans,
Participate in industry organisations and conferences to build visibility of Arriello’s service capability,
Leverage Arriello’s existing customer base to attract a higher share of wallet for consultancy and services solutions,
Participate in Account Management and Business Development activities, such as:
attending client governance calls
attending customer / internal scoping calls
participating in client bid defences.
Maintain knowledge of evolving industry trends and regulatory updates and be vigilant of, and act upon, opportunities and threats to Arriello’s GxP Quality Assurance and Auditing Services,
Oversee, motivate, mentor, and evaluate department’s staff, including implementing development and growth plans for departmental personnel,
Function as a partner with peers on a tactical level
Act as a partner for our clients supporting their needs for current and future work when it is required and staff the department for other colleagues to do the same.
Develop and maintain contacts with existing and potential clients such that this leads to deepening of new relationships, in line with the Commercial Department’s strategic account plan,
Contribute to client contracts with respect to the relevant services,
Participate in the necessary innovative and strategic decisions in the company.
Support the continuous development and improvement of the company, within Quality Assurance and Auditing, and across the broader areas of the business.
Seek opportunities to improve operational efficiency, including process automation and the deployment of technology-based solutions within Arriello.
Participate in internal committees/teams, as required.
What experience should you have:
15 years’ experience in Quality Management, Quality Assurance or Auditing Department in the life sciences industry or sufficient experience as may be assessed by the COO
GMP / GDP auditing experience
Previous experience in QP Batch Disposition preferred.
Strong knowledge of GLP, GCP, GMP, GDP, GVP and MAH compliance
Lead auditor certification / experience desirable
ISO 9001 and ISO 13485 knowledge desirable
