and Maple Bear Primary School Prague s.r.o., Company ID: 22381759, with its registered office at Na hřebenech II 1718/10, Nusle, 140 00 Prague 4, registered in the Commercial Register maintained by the Municipal Court in Prague under file No. C 415360,

(hereinafter collectively referred to as “Maple Bear”), acting as joint controllers of personal data within the meaning of Article 4(7) in conjunction with Article 26 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 (General Data Protection Regulation, hereinafter “GDPR”), hereby provide you, in accordance with Article 13 GDPR, with the following information regarding your interest in employment with Maple Bear:

Scope of Personal Data Processing

Maple Bear will process your personal data to the following extent:

  • Identification data (first name, surname, birth surname, academic titles, address of residence, permanent address, place of birth, nationality, citizenship, gender)

  • Contact data (telephone number, email address, correspondence address)

  • Health fitness for work

  • CV and cover letter, references, data obtained during interviews, data obtained from tests

Purpose and Legal Basis for Processing

The purpose of processing your personal data is the recruitment of employees for positions within Maple Bear companies.

The legal basis for processing is:

  • the legitimate interest of Maple Bear in concluding an employment contract and processing personal data during the recruitment process, and

  • your consent (if granted) for retaining your personal data after the recruitment process has ended.

Retention Period

Your personal data will be processed for the duration of the recruitment process and, if consent is granted, for a period of four (4) years after its completion.

No automated decision-making, including profiling, will take place.

Recipients of Personal Data

Your personal data may be processed by Maple Bear employees, other companies within the Maple Bear group, or third parties acting on the basis of a contractual relationship.

Your data may also be provided to:

  • public authorities,

  • IT and HR service providers,

  • media or business partners of Maple Bear.

Your Rights Under GDPR

You have the following rights:

Right of access (Art. 15 GDPR)
You have the right to obtain confirmation as to whether your personal data is being processed and to access related information.

Right to rectification (Art. 16 GDPR)
You have the right to correct inaccurate or incomplete personal data.

Right to erasure (Art. 17 GDPR)
You have the right to request deletion of your personal data under conditions set by GDPR.

Right to restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR)
You may request limitation of processing in specific cases.

Right to data portability (Art. 20 GDPR)
You may obtain your personal data in a structured, commonly used, machine-readable format (where applicable).

Right to object (Art. 21 GDPR)
You may object to processing based on legitimate interests.

Right not to be subject to automated decision-making (Art. 22 GDPR)
No such processing occurs in this case.

Right to lodge a complaint (Art. 77 GDPR)
You may file a complaint with the supervisory authority (Office for Personal Data Protection).

Exercising Your Rights

You may exercise your rights by contacting Maple Bear:

  • by post to the registered office of any Maple Bear company (attn. Monika Fürstová), or

  • by email at: info@maplebear.cz

Maple Bear will respond without undue delay, no later than one (1) month after receiving the request.

Consent to Personal Data Processing

I hereby grant my consent to the processing of my above-mentioned personal data by Maple Bear after the end of the recruitment process for a period of three (3) years, for the purpose of being contacted as a job applicant and receiving job offers, including electronic communication in accordance with Act No. 480/2004 Coll.

I acknowledge that providing consent is voluntary and that it may be withdrawn at any time by written notice sent to the registered office of any Maple Bear company. Upon withdrawal, my personal data will be deleted from the applicant database.
