Accounting Manager

What we need from an Accounting Manager:

• Financial Reporting: Oversee accurate and timely preparation of financial statements.
• Accounting Operations: Manage daily accounting activities, including accounts payable, receivable, and general ledger maintenance.
• Financial Analysis: Provide financial insights to support decision-making and strategic initiatives.
• Audit Preparation: Coordinate with and assist auditors to ensure seamless financial audits.
• Team Management: Lead and mentor the accounting team, fostering professional growth and team efficiency.
• Internal Controls: Develop and maintain internal controls to ensure financial accuracy and compliance.
• Tax Compliance: Ensure compliance with tax regulations and timely tax filing.

Necessary Skills and Experiences:

• Proven experience (5+ years) in accounting or finance, preferably within a managerial role.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Proficiency in financial reporting, accounting software, and financial analysis.
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Fluency in Czech and English (additional languages are advantageous).

Preferred Skills and Qualifications:

• Familiarity with payroll accounting and tax regulations.
• Experience working in multinational environments or corporate venture settings.
• Knowledge of financial software systems and the ability to adapt to new technologies.

• Screening phone call with a recruiter.
• Interview with the Head of Group Accounting.
• Bootcamp (1 day spent with your potential team – we want to see how you work and we are looking forward to hearing your questions about Creative Dock).
