Accounting Manager Consolidation and Closing International

• Lead and supervise work of accounting teams charged with preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual reporting packages according to IFRS and Deutsche Telekom Group Accounting Manual and preparation of annual statutory financial statements
• Supervise, motivate and lead the people managers, ensuring they and their teams have the necessary skills and properly allocated resources to perform their duties effectively, timely and in high quality
• Foster a positive work environment and encourage professional development among team members
• Develop and implement group-wide strategy for provided services together with superior and international leadership team
• Preparation of annual statutory financial statements
• Coordinate closing process incl. coordination of closing-related information delivery from several stakeholders locally as well as internationally.
• Consult with external and internal auditors and ensure on time delivery of required documentation and compliance with applicable laws and regulations & group guidelines
• Liaise with customer’s representatives regarding monthly closing procedures, business-related updates and requirements, which impact the financials and processes
• Develop accounting and closing processes to implement new IFRS requirements and to ensure correct accounting for new business models
• Drive improvements of quality and efficiency of closing and financial reporting processes
• Develop, supervise and implement all relevant policies, processes, SOPs, and instructions
• Supporting international transition of accounting activities from national operating companies to Deutsche Telekom Services Europe
• Taking over a leadership for dedicated work streams in other international projects of medium to high complexity

The salary for this position is from 2800 EUR gross. The published salary is the minimum possible offer.
The starting salary may be higher depending on the extent of fulfillment of the employee's requirements (education, language skills, required practice, personality assumptions and skills).

• Fluent English and additional language (preferable Croatian/North Macedonian/Montenegrinian)
• University Degree in Accounting or Finance
• Min. 5 years of experience in IFRS and in an additional relevant local GAAP (Croatian and North Macedonian/Montenegrinian GAAP); know-how of local taxes beneficial
• Additional accounting qualification (ACCA, CIMA, CINA or CPA) is a plus
• Experience in international auditing company
• Experience of managing a team of accounting experts (leadership)
• Confident financial reporting skills for local statutory financial statements
• Profound knowledge of SAP and MS Office
• Well organized and stress resistant
• Customer orientated with good communication skills
• Able to lead and motivate others
• Self-directed, active and team player
• Ability to meet tight deadlines and produce accurate results
• Ready to work in international environment and occasionally travel within Europe
