Application Support

Our partner is part of a large international group under the umbrella of a prominent French financial institution. Recognizable for its star logo seen at global tennis events, they share a common mission – to protect their clients from sudden life events like loss of employment or long-term illness. As part of their team, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of their applications, serving clients across multiple European countries.



What will be your key responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support and maintenance for internal applications in the TEST environment, including configuration, installation, and testing of new versions.
  • Offer L2 application support, using tools such as JIRA and ServiceNow to manage incidents and tickets.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve software and technical issues for customers efficiently.
  • Gather and analyze the necessary information to address and resolve customer inquiries.
  • Manage customer expectations on estimated response times for issue resolution.
  • Conduct extensive research and document technical issues thoroughly.
  • Collaborate with other Technical Support team members on strategic projects as needed.

What experience should you have:

  • Fluent English proficiency (minimum B2 level).
  • At least 2 years of experience in application or system support.
  • Experience with Linux (at least 2 years) – ability to run commands, manage the system, and ideally script.
  • Knowledge of web and application servers (e.g., Apache, Tomcat, WebSphere).
  • Experience with monitoring tools like Splunk, Dynatrace, Witbee or similar.
  • Experience with ticketing systems such as JIRA or ServiceNow.
  • Understanding of Bash scripting (knowledge of Python is a plus).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Experience in an international environment is a plus.
