Automation Proposals Engineer

The Automation Proposals Engineer is responsible for creating, validating and promoting the basic design on which a proposal is based and working out the cost estimation for the automaton and electrical scope.

 The responsibility covers the automation & Electrical conceptual design.

The aim is to provide designs which satisfy the client brief in an economical way, while as far as possible demonstrating quantifiable benefits associated with company´s design and/or technology. 

• Degree level qualification in appropriate engineering discipline (e.g. automation and electrical)
• Working knowledge in PLC solutions
• Experience of working within, and leading, a technically oriented team
• Full driving license
• Good level of competence in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Experience of scheduling tools (e.g. Microsoft Project) beneficial
• Sales or sales support experience
