Azure DevOps Engineer

Our partner is an innovative company dedicated to delivering cutting-edge solutions in the data platform and cloud technology space. They specialize in offering high-quality services to help businesses drive digital transformation.

They are looking for an experienced Azure DevOps Engineer to join their team in Slovakia. In this role, you will be responsible for applying DevOps methodology, managing cloud and on-premise applications, and developing end-to-end automation solutions to support our data platform operations.



What will be your key responsibilities:

  • Apply DevOps methodology and continuously improve internal routines and procedures.
  • Operate and maintain applications running on the data platform, both on-premise and cloud.
  • Execute tasks based on business and project requirements, including running applications and jobs for enterprise data use cases.
  • Develop Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) artifacts and implement end-to-end automation solutions using Gitlab CI.
  • Maintain and update tasks and changes in JIRA.
  • Mentor and provide knowledge sharing to less experienced team members.
  • Prepare technical documentation and contribute to standards.
  • Support the Solutions Architect with expertise in infrastructure topics.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned by the supervisor.


What experience should you have:

  • University degree (Bachelor's or Master's).
  • Strong experience in Linux administration and container technologies.
  • Expertise in Cloud & Azure technologies.
  • Proficiency with Gitlab CI and GitLab administration.
  • Experience with system monitoring tools like Dynatrace, Grafana, and dashboard creation.
  • Knowledge of security topics such as system updates, patching, and vulnerability handling.
  • Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies.
  • Excellent communication skills and fluency in English (B2 level or higher).
  • Ability to work in a complex international environment and collaborate with multiple stakeholders.
  • Team player with strong problem-solving skills.
