Azure Network Engineer

As an Azure Network & Windows or Linux Administrator, you will be responsible for managing, monitoring, and optimizing our cloud-based infrastructure, ensuring seamless operation of our networks, and maintaining our Windows or Linux server environments. This is a critical role that combines cloud network management with traditional system administration tasks.

What will be your key responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, configure, and manage Azure-based network infrastructures (virtual networks, subnets, VPN gateways, load balancers, etc.).

• Manage and maintain Windows or Linux servers

• Monitor system performance, network security, and troubleshoot issues as they arise.

• Implement and maintain Azure governance policies, ensuring compliance with security and regulatory requirements.

• Automate tasks and workflows using PowerShell, Bash, or other scripting languages.

• Manage and troubleshoot DNS, DHCP, and Active Directory services.

• Collaborate with development and DevOps teams to implement and support continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.

• Ensure high availability, disaster recovery, and backup solutions are in place and tested regularly.

• Provide support for network and infrastructure incidents, resolving them in a timely and efficient manner.

• Stay current with Azure updates, Windows or Linux advancements, and industry trends.

What experience should you have:

• Proven experience managing Azure network infrastructures, including               virtual networks, VPNs, NSGs, and load balancers.

• Strong expertise in Windows or Linux server administration                                 (Windows Server, Ubuntu, Red Hat, etc.).

• Hands-on experience with networking protocols and services such                  as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPNs

• Knowledge of firewalls, security groups, and network security best                   practices in Azure.

• Experience with automation tools (PowerShell, Bash, or Python scripting).

 • Familiarity with Active Directory, Group Policy, and Azure AD integration.

• Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex network and system issues.

 • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to collaborate effectively in cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator, Azure Network Engineer, or equivalent certifications.

• Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA) or Linux Professional Institute Certification (LPIC).

• Familiarity with DevOps tools such as Jenkins, Docker, or Kubernete

 • Knowledge of ITIL best practices.
