Azure Tech Lead

As an Azure Tech Lead, your role is pivotal in guiding and mentoring a dedicated development team of up to three members, providing them with the technical direction and support needed to ensure both personal and team growth, ultimately aiming for higher productivity and superior quality outcomes. Your leadership will be instrumental in implementing and managing cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code tools such as Azure Resource Manager (ARM) and Bicep, facilitating consistent and repeatable deployments that enhance operational efficiency while significantly reducing errors.

You will have the responsibility to establish and enforce coding standards, best practices, and processes that guarantee high-quality code and effective solutions, contributing to the creation of a reliable and high-performing development environment. A crucial aspect of your role involves monitoring and optimizing cloud resource usage to manage costs efficiently, devising scaling strategies, and engaging in proactive budget forecasting, thereby driving cost efficiency and maximizing the value of cloud investments through astute financial oversight.

In your capacity as a leader, you will implement robust monitoring and logging strategies using Azure Monitor, Application Insights, among other tools, ensuring system reliability and enabling quick issue resolution to minimize downtime and bolster operational stability. You will also collaborate closely with project managers, product owners, and various stakeholders to align on project goals, timelines, and deliverables, ensuring that all parties are working towards a common objective with clear communication and shared understanding.

• Master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related.
• Azure certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert) are highly desirable.
• At least 6 years in web development, with a minimum of 5 years specializing in Azure cloud solutions and architecture.
• Deep knowledge of Azure services, including Azure databases, Azure Data Factory, Azure Resource Manager, and Azure Monitor.
• Proficiency in developing and deploying microservices on Azure.
• Experience with Azure API Gateway for API management and integration, and with GraphQL in the context of eCommerce Solutions for efficient data querying and manipulation.
• Ability to lead technical discussions, design sessions, and problem-solving initiatives.
• Exceptional communication skills, team leadership with a can-do approach, and a commitment to continuous learning.
