The core qualities of Backend Developer

• Kotlin 2.x, Spring Boot 3.x, JPA, Gradle, REST, Liquibase/Flyway, working knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and Microservices architecture
• Experience with asynchronous programming (eg. Coroutines, R2DBC) 
• Preferred experience with asynchronous messaging using RabbitMQ or Kafka
• Preferred experience PostgreSQL
• Preferred experience with Azure Cloud Development process
• Preferred experience with building Loyalty applications 
• Preferred experience with SCRUM methodology, automation using GitLab CI/CD
• International background/experience preferred
• Minimum of 3 years of experience with a proven track record
• Fluent Czech language required

What we need from the Backend Developer

• Developing features from business requirements in Jira (user stories and tasks)
• Performance optimization to handle large traffic of our user base
• Creating and maintaining unit tests for your own code
• Close cooperation with other team members (developers, testers, product managers etc.)
• Analyzing business requirements and breaking them into technical tasks
  
• Overall participation in the entire lifecycle of software development, especially in tasks related to the implementation of new features and maintenance of existing ones
• Supporter of agile/scrum methodology who will play an active role in developing and improving the app for customers
• Openness to learn and adapt to new technologies
• Reliable, dependable, and customer-oriented personality – you build it, you run it
• Have a team-player mindset with a hands-on approach and comms skills
