Competence Center PTP Expert

The Delivery Unit Customer Touchpoints (TOU) is the central communication interface for internal and external customers and suppliers. The Value Stream TOU is responsible for the implementation and optimization of the end-to-end process chain of operations, from procurement to the release of the invoice and payment. The Customer Touchpoints is in charge for the entire Procurement and Payment support (First and Second Level) as well as processing group payment transactions and bank accounting. Furthermore, we initiate and support process improvements in close collaboration with Process Management. We are working on SAP platform and connect our experts in an international team (mainly located in Leipzig, Bonn, Bratislava and Brno). We offer advanced trainings and further education to improve your expertise and soft skills. 

What will be your key responsibilities:

  • Handling phone or written queries of DT colleagues and external suppliers and tracking them in Salesforce
  • Different kinds of administration tasks: access creations and updates, sourcing and contract management support, support on resolution of various accounting queries, preparation of reports
  • Process services: e-Auction creation and users support, individual supplier communication, event monitoring, upload and download support
  • Incident Management: Partially deep research in SAP and Salesforce and clarification of special queries along the PTP Value Stream 
  • Open-item clearing and management
  • End-to-End clearing of incoming complex invoices, regardless their source (EDI, Ariba, paper)
  • Support of process harmonization executed by Process Management
  • Care for our Core Suppliers
  • Participation on international projects
  • Willingness to learn new processes and tasks and actively participate in their development and improvement
  • Other ad-hoc activities defined by Superiors

What experience should you have:

  • Education: Secondary with leaving examination in Economy or Accounting
  • Experience: 2 years of relevant work experience in Accounting (Accounts Payable)
  • Language knowledge: German – B2,
  • Customer friendly spirit and team player
  • Experience with Salesforce, SAP and PTP-Process, -Systems and -Tools
  • Know- how of MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) is a big plus
  • Self-confident and friendly style of communication
  • Motivation to be creative and to collaborate on process developments and innovations
  • Proactive approach to the tasks and new challenges
  • Focus to independently find a solution in complex situations
  • Willingness to work in an international environment, participate in abroad trainings/ workshops
  • Ready to learn fast and enjoy new inputs
