Data Engineer (A985) - Hybrid BA (1x týž.)

We are looking for a skilled and motivated Data Engineer to help us transform raw data into efficient, scalable, and high-quality data solutions. You will work with modern technologies, large datasets, and collaborate closely with data analysts, data scientists, and software engineers.

What will be your key responsibilities:

Extracting, cleaning, and transforming data from various sources (databases, APIs, files)
Ensuring data consistency, quality, and integrity
Collaborating with analytics teams to define key metrics and KPIs
Designing, developing, and maintaining ETL/ELT data pipelines using tools such as Apache Airflow and dbt
Working with relational and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB)
Implementing big data solutions using technologies like Apache Spark, Kafka, and Databricks
Optimizing data pipelines for scalability, reliability, and performance
Managing cloud-based data environments (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
Automating infrastructure and deployments using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools
Continuously improving data solutions and staying up to date with the latest trends in data engineering

What experience should you have:

A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Analytics, or a related field (Master’s degree is a plus)
Proven experience in data engineering, ETL/ELT development, and database management
Strong knowledge of SQL and Python (Scala or Java is a plus)
Experience with at least one major cloud platform (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
Hands-on experience with big data technologies (Apache Spark, Kafka, Databricks)
Knowledge of data modeling, data warehousing, and pipeline optimization
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
Familiarity with data governance, security, and compliance is an advantage
Relevant cloud or data engineering certifications are a plus
