Data Privacy Expert

• Provide expert guidance on data privacy and GDPR-related matters.
• Review and monitor business processes, information systems, applications, and contracts from a data protection perspective.
• Identify privacy risks and recommend appropriate mitigation measures.
• Assess new products, services, and initiatives for compliance with data protection requirements.
• Develop, update, and maintain internal privacy policies and guidelines.
• Support and advise internal stakeholders on privacy-related topics.
• Coordinate and manage requests related to personal data protection.
• Collaborate closely with the internal Privacy team and colleagues across the Deutsche Telekom Group.
• Contribute to international projects and cross-functional initiatives.

What are we looking for?

• University degree, ideally in Law, Business Informatics, Information Security, or a related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in Data Privacy, GDPR, Compliance, IT, or a related area.
• Solid understanding of GDPR and data protection principles.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders.
• Professional proficiency in English (B2 or higher); German is an advantage.
• Good command of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Proactive and responsible approach to work.
• Excellent organizational and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Interest in working in an international, cross-functional environment.
