E-Commerce Manager

As and a Category Manager for our toys industry client, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to enhance client's online presence, optimise the customer shopping experience, and increase overall sales. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the e-commerce landscape, a passion for toys, and a proven track record of success in managing and growing online sales channels.


The core qualities of Category Manager

  • Proven experience as an E-commerce Expert, preferably in the toys industry.
  • Strong understanding of e-commerce platforms, digital marketing, and online consumer behaviour.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with web analytics tools and e-commerce KPIs.
  • Creative mindset with a passion for the toys industry.
  • Essential English Language skills; German, Spanish or French is desirable

What we need from Category Manager

  • Develop and execute comprehensive e-commerce strategies to drive online sales growth.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and implement best practices to enhance the online shopping experience.
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the e-commerce platform, ensuring a seamless and user-friendly experience.
  • Collaborate with the IT team to implement website updates and improvements.
  • Manage product listings, ensuring accurate and compelling product descriptions, images, and pricing.
  • Implement merchandising strategies to highlight key products and promotions.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to execute online marketing campaigns, including CRM, SEO, SEM, and social media.
  • Monitor and analyse digital marketing performance, making data-driven recommendations for improvement.
  • Optimise the online customer journey to maximise customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Address customer inquiries and concerns promptly, maintaining a positive brand image.
