Embedded Linux Developer (2NOS Platform)

A Bit About the Role

• You’ll work on innovative firmware powering 2N products based on the Linux OS, including new hardware bring-up, driver integrations, and API development for our application team.
• You’ll collaborate with a cross-functional group of engineers—some building device interfaces and some focusing on the Linux platform support side—to deliver optimized code under hardware constraints.
• You’ll have everyday challenges designing and implementing efficient solutions, all while solving complex problems that shape the future of our products.

Your Responsibilities 

• Design, build, and test efficient, high-quality embedded code built on the Linux OS covered with unit tests and automated functional tests.
• Implement and integrate drivers for new hardware, bringing new solutions to life
• Develop APIs for internal teams and ensure seamless communication with the application layer
• Collaborate in an agile environment, participating in sprints, code reviews, and team discussions
• Use your creativity and problem-solving to deliver improvements and innovations to our products

What We’re Looking For

• 1. Proficiency in C and C++ programming, along with basic scripting (Shell, Python)
• 2. Experience writing, testing, and debugging code in embedded Linux
• 3. Ability to create optimized embedded code within hardware constraints
• 4. Strong analytical and diagnostic skills – you can easily spot inefficiencies or errors
• 5. Familiarity with Git, build and debug tools (e.g. Yocto, Meson, GDB)
• 6. Desire to work in an agile environment using tools like Jira and Confluence
• 7. English communication skills – both written and spoken
