Finance and Reporting Specialist

Our client - Fjord Bank - is a new generation fully digital challenger bank with Nordic roots and a startup mindset, which is focusing on consumer finance and saving products, aiming to build up a cost-effective and flexible business model with technology-driven and fully automated application processes. To strengthen their team, Fjord Bank is now searching for a Finance and Reporting Specialist.

What will be your key responsibilities:

The role is to support the bank in making grounded and numerically justified business decisions and through that achieve better business results. Specialist will be involved in various reporting processes.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Preparation and development of internal and regulatory reporting;

· Participation in budgeting and financial planning processes;

· Analysis of the bank´s performance against budgets and forecasts;

· Analysis of the bank´s products and business processes, aiming to improve efficiency and profitability;

· Providing regular support and information to CFO, CRO, CEO, CMO and the Management Board;

· Participating actively in communication with regulatory and supervisory authorities.


What experience should you have:

· Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Mathematics, Economics or a related field;

· Minimum 3 years of experience with data analysis and/or reporting, preferably in the banking or financial services industry;

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with financial and non-financial stakeholders;

· Advanced knowledge of Excel and data analysis and visualization tools;

· Experience with working large data sets and interpreting the results;

· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;

· Being proactive, result oriented and having a hands-on approach;

· Ability to work independently and as a team member;
