What will be your key responsibilities:

Job Summary:

  • The Finance Manager in Vilnius oversees the financial health of the organization, providing analysis, planning, and advice crucial to decision-making processes. They manage the Finance Department, contributing significantly to the company's overall success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Planning and Analysis: develop and implement financial strategies, conduct analysis, and offer recommendations.
  • Budgeting: manage budgets, ensure alignment with goals, and monitor variances.
  • Financial Reporting: prepare and present accurate financial reports, ensuring compliance.
  • Cash Flow Management: monitor and manage cash flow, implementing policies.
  • Risk Management: identify and manage financial risks, ensure compliance.
  • Audit and Compliance: coordinate audits, ensure adherence to regulations.
  • Team Leadership: supervise and mentor finance department staff, fostering a positive work environment.
  • Relationship Management: collaborate internally and externally to provide financial support.
  • Continuous Improvement: identify process improvement opportunities and stay updated on industry trends.
  • General Accountabilities: implement company-wide strategies, ensure compliance with policies.
  • Decision Making Authority: finance manager reports situations impacting projects and the organization, while also examining data to make recommendations for continuous improvement and innovative solutions.

What experience should you have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field (Master's degree and/or professional certification such as CPA preferred).
  • Proven experience of 3-5+ years in financial management, accounting, or related roles.
  • Demonstrated expertise in budgeting, forecasting, and managing budgets, risk management and mitigation, financial reporting and auditing coordination, financial planning and strategy development.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Fluency in English;
  • Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Excel.
