Financial Accountant

Our partner is a well-known manufacturing company with sustainable innovations for industrial usage. In Hungary they operate in a Shared Service Centre, where they have a Financial Accounting team of 20-25. They have close contact with American, African, European and Australian units, and due to their successes in the industry they are looking for Financial Accountant professionals to increase their capacities. The ideal new colleague has 1-2 years of experience as an accountant in SSC environment, with an excellent usage of English.

What will be your key responsibilities:

  • Reconciling accounts on a daily/weekly/monthly basis
  • Managing manual booking and balance sheet reconciliations
  • Handling P&L sheets during monthly/quarterly/yearly closing
  • Intercompany netting
  • Tracking cash-flow, creating weekly reports
  • Managing compliance (US-GAAP and local requirements)
  • Cooperating with other business units (purchasing, sales, AP, AR etc.)

What experience should you have:

  • University degree in Economics (preferably in Finance and accounting)
  • 1-3 years of experience as an accountant in SSC (shared service centre) environment
  • Basic understanding of financial processes and accounting
  • Excellent English knowledge, both oral and written
  • Experience with any ERP systems is a plus
  • Cooperation, proactive personality, precision
