Financial Controller - Slavonski Brod/Chorvatsko

We are seeking a Financial Controller for Duro Daković Grupa, a member of CE Industries.

Its stable production base and complex organizational structure create a setting in which the Financial Controller plays a key role in ensuring accurate financial reporting, strong internal controls, and reliable data to support both operational and strategic decision-making.

What will be your key responsibilities:

Evaluate the company's financial performance and prepare analyses for management
Create clear reporting and search for key insights
Participate in planning, forecasts and budgets
Monitor the quality and consistency of data across systems and sources
Work with data, participate in the development of BI tools and reporting automation
Collaborate with teams across the company and help them understand the numbers
Propose process improvements and find more efficient ways to work with data
Involve in closings, prepare accounting documents and improve financial processes

What experience should you have:

Experience in controlling, finance or an analytical role of production company
Strong knowledge of financial statements and reporting
Ability to find connections between data and operational issues - strong analytical skills
Advanced knowledge of Excel and SAP (BI tools are a plus)
Ability to explain numbers to people outside of finance
Ability to come up with your own ideas
Overlap with business - understanding what financial numbers mean in practice
Fluent Croatian and English (written and spoken)
