HEAD OF PROCUREMENT

As the HEAD OF PROCUREMENT, you will be entrusted with the comprehensive responsibility for overseeing extensive procurement projects and warehousing, and the quality of services across multiple companies within the group, spanning the region.

This role demands not just maintaining but continually executing and delivering procurement priorities, and processes to ensure all legitimate user demands— ranging from materials and investments to commodities, technologies, assets, and services.

• Leading and developing a high-performing team will be at the heart of your duties, ensuring that each team member is fully equipped and motivated to reach their full potential.

• You will coordinate selection procedures and negotiate economically advantageous cooperation terms, always keeping the Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) in mind.

• Additionally, you will manage partnerships with both Slovak and international partners, negotiating terms and closing deals. 

• Contract management, handling complaints, and reporting to senior management are also key components of your role.

• Cost Optimization: Identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements without compromising on quality or project timelines.
• Risk Management: Proactively assess and mitigate procurement risks, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and company policies.

• Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including finance, legal, and project management, to ensure seamless project execution.

• University degree in economics or a technical field

• At least 5 years of experience in a similar role /senior procurement/ ideally within investment technologies or/and investment construction

• Experience in a regulated segment is a plus

• Excellent command of the English language, both verbal and written, with negotiation ability

• Strong analytical skills and experience with procurement analysis

• Proven experience in team management and employee development

• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously

• Excellent negotiation, organizational, communication, and presentation skills

• Proficiency in using PC applications (SAP, MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

• Driving license category B

• Willingness to travel /10% of your working time/
