Head of Warehouse Projects

As the Head of Warehouse Projects, you will report to the Group Head of Automation and take a leading role in shaping the intralogistics processes of the future within our automation department. Your responsibilities will include acting as an internal source of knowledge on engineering and automation topics, building and leading the FC Implementation team, and managing the successful integration of critical warehouse equipment, such as automation systems, racking, and robotics. You will develop project and program management approaches to ensure successful execution and scalability, manage stakeholders for visibility and acceptance, and prepare project handover protocols. Additionally, you will be responsible for developing knowledge transfer strategies to warehouse teams regarding implemented technology and clarifying project responsibilities through a responsibility matrix.

• Proven track record with minimum 5 years in managing large scale, CapEx projects, ideally in automation, material handling, or manufacturing.
• Degree in industrial engineering, mechanical engineering, mechatronics, or a comparable qualification.
• Broad technical expertise with conveyors and racking solutions integration.
• Project management qualification such as IPMA Level C, prince2, or PMP.
• Analytical and logical approach with the ability to challenge expert opinions.
• Effective communication and presentation skills across all business levels.
