LEAN Manager

What will be your key responsibilities:

Are you passionate about process optimization and continuous improvement? Do you have a knack for identifying inefficiencies and implementing solutions?

​We are seeking a skilled and motivated Lean Manager to lead a dynamic team and steer our Lean initiatives towards success.

You will be responsible for:

- Designing, implementing and managing lean methodologies and practices to optimize production efficiency,

- Leading the team to identify process bottlenecks, waste and inefficiencies, 

- Developing and implementing strategies to enhance processes, reduce waste and improve product quality,

- Rolling out Lean Basic and Lean Advanced training programs for team members to foster a Lean culture,​

- Conducting thorough process analyses and time studies to identify improvement opportunities in workflows,

- Establishing Daily Performance Boards and plant SQDCIP boards to visualize operational performance,​

- Collaborating with department heads to develop and implement standardized work processes,​

- Co-leading gemba walks with the plant manager to gain firsthand insights into operational challenges,

- Tracking and measuring the success of Lean initiatives through key performance indicators (KPIs),​

- Understanding work-in-progress (WIP) and initiating, leading and supporting WIP reduction projects,​

- Preparing Value Stream Analyses (VSA) to optimize Lean processes,​

- Developing Lean Process Audits (LPA) to ensure adherence to Lean principles and identify improvement opportunities,​

- Continuously updating knowledge on industry best practices and new trends in Lean management.​

What experience should you have:

Master's degree in a technical field or economics,

Minimum of 5 years of experience in implementing Lean methodologies and process improvement,

Profound understanding of Lean tools and methods, particularly in Value Stream Analysis, flow concepts, and problem-solving activities,

Strong knowledge of Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) principles,

Proven leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams,

English at a communicative level, German is a significant advantage,

Strong analytical skills and critical thinking to identify improvement opportunities,

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration,

Knowledge of project management tools and process mapping.
