M365 Identity and Access Specialist

We are seeking an experienced M365 Identity and Access Specialist to join our Technology team. As an M365 Identity and Access Specialist, you will play a crucial role in helping our clients effectively manage their digital identities within the Microsoft 365 ecosystem. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining identity and access management solutions for our clients, ensuring their systems are secure, streamlined, and compliant.

What will be your key responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with clients to understand their identity and access management requirements and translate them into technical solutions within the M365 platform.
  • Design, configure, and implement identity and access management solutions, including user provisioning, authentication, single sign-on, and role-based access control.
  • Perform hands-on implementation and configuration of M365 identity services, such as Azure Active Directory, Azure AD Connect and Azure AD Conditional Access.
  • Conduct security assessments and provide recommendations to enhance the security posture of client's identity infrastructure.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex identity and access management issues, working closely with cross-functional teams.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends, developments, and best practices in M365 identity and access management.
  • Collaborate with other technology specialists and architects to deliver integrated solutions that meet client requirements.

What experience should you have:

  • Hands-on experience in implementing and managing identity and access management solutions, specifically within the M365 ecosystem.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 identity services, including Azure Active Directory, Azure AD Connect, and Azure AD Conditional Access.
  • Experience with scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell) to automate identity management tasks.
  • Familiarity with security concepts and best practices related to identity and access management.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with clients and cross-functional teams.
  • Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Identity and Access Administrator Associate or similar are a plus.
  • Knowledge of PKI, ADFS, AoVPN, NPS and NDES is warmly welcomed.
