Network & Security Engineer (A966) - Hybrid BA

Our partner is an outsourcing provider delivering comprehensive IT services with international operations. Their primary areas of focus include integrated software solutions, data security, big data, and analytics for enterprises and public sector organizations.

We are seeking a Senior Network & Security Engineer to manage and enhance our enterprise network environment. You will ensure high availability, security, and performance of core network systems while working in a dynamic, supportive, and growth-oriented team.

What will be your key responsibilities:

Monitor and manage network, security, SAN, and DWDM infrastructure
Respond to incidents (A+/A/B/C) and lead troubleshooting and recovery efforts
Administer firewalls, WAF, email security, and IPS/IDS systems
Support SAN fabrics, FC zoning, and optical transport (ROADM, XPonder, OSNR/BER)
Perform patching, upgrades, and configuration hardening
Participate in network architecture design, optimization, and capacity planning
Integrate monitoring tools (Zabbix/PRTG/SNMP/Syslog)
Maintain documentation (NetBox) and produce SLA reports
Deliver knowledge transfer to internal IT teams

What experience should you have:

5+ years of experience in enterprise networking and/or security engineering
Hands-on experience with Fortinet or Cisco firewalls
Knowledge of SAN (Cisco MDS) and DWDM optical transport is a strong advantage
Strong troubleshooting skills in SLA-driven environments
Understanding of routing, switching, VPN, QoS, and high availability
Ability to work independently and manage critical incidents
Preferred Certifications: NSE4/NSE5, CCNP, PCNSA/PCNSE, ITIL (advantage, not mandatory)
