1. Order management & Complaints handling:
- Processing sales orders in an accurate & timely manner (Order Book Management: SAP registration; pricing checks, goods allocation; managing back orders with customer / sales team / planning)
- Scheduling deliveries with Distribution centres in order to satisfy Requested delivery date, booking “slots” where applicable, looking for efficiency in volume consolidation (utilisation of pallets/trucks), managing shipments with 3PLs, following upon unloading, informing customer about potential issues on the way, etc.
- Reviewing transport claims as reported by customers, analysing incoming evidence, registering as per internal process, supporting communication towards customer if needed, proactive checking of “AR claim report” and helping to close open unpaid invoices
- Supporting the team with back up in scope of above activities when necessary
2. Sales Support
- Keeping close track of Country Sales plans per account, and helping to achieve Sales target
- Participating in customer meetings (online and visits in person) where applicable
- Understanding customer needs and providing support to Key Account Managers/Business Management accordingly
- Helping to validate and setup customer requirements in close cooperation with other departments, and/or suggesting alternative solutions
3. Communication and cross-department collaboration
- Being proactively engaged in regular dialogues with Customers, Sales, Demand Planners, Distribution centres, Credit Controllers, etc.
- Organizing review meetings with Commercial Directors & Business Management
- Being ready to present and argument for proposed solutions (external/ internal audience)
4. Team leadership & People development
- Coaching, mentoring & develop team to ensure expected performance
- Supporting team members in operational issues (IT tickets, attendance system, etc.)
- Taking care of new team members’ onboarding, as well as keeping the training tracking tool in place for all employees within the team, with action plans in place to minimize knowledge gaps
- Making sure that the team follows the processes and procedures and has an adequate knowledge to do so.
- Securing routine management, including performance reviews, task delegation, escalation process, etc.
- Last, but not the least - you will also participate in audit activities, process improvements and maintenance, as well as various projects.
