Power BI Developer

As Data Analytics Specialist, you will:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather, clean, and preprocess data from multiple sources, ensuring accuracy, relevancy, and completeness.
• Collect needs from business stakeholders, transforming them into technical requirement for the data engineers.
• Develop, maintain and document data models, reports, and visualizations to present complex data in an accessible and understandable manner, thus enabling data-driven decision-making across the organization.
• Develop and document optimized data models for self service BI
• Build access rules to secure proper access to data
• Manage report publication settings on the cloud infrastructure
• Use advanced statistical and analytical techniques to identify trends, patterns, anomalies, and key insights in large datasets, providing valuable inputs for strategy development and process improvements.
• Collaborate with data engineers, data scientists, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless data integration and accessibility for advanced analytics and machine learning applications.
• Provide guidance and support to business stakeholders, addressing data-related inquiries and aiding in the interpretation and understanding of analytical findings.
• Stay current with emerging technologies, tools, and trends in the field of data analytics, and implement innovative approaches to enhance the capabilities and efficiency of the analytics function.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of data governance initiatives to ensure consistency, quality, and security of data assets across the organization.

What you will bring:

• Proven experience using data visualization tools, such as Power BI, Qlik or Tableau, to create impactful data presentations and dashboards.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and knowledge of analytical programming languages, such as Python or R.
• Familiarity with statistical and analytical concepts, including hypothesis testing, regression analysis, and clustering techniques.

Other skills that we would welcome:

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field.
• A minimum of 3 years of professional experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or a similar role.
• Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and communication skills, with the ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner.
• Microsoft Power BI Data Analyst certification
• Knowledge (basic) on T-SQL, DevOps, Azure Data Platform
