Product Owner ADS

We’re looking for a Product Owner to lead our ADS team, driving the development and
optimization of our in-house advertising technology. This role is all about enhancing our ad
solutions to create value for both advertisers and our business. You’ll be responsible for
setting a clear product vision, defining priorities, and ensuring the team delivers impactful
improvements that maximize ad performance and revenue.
Working closely with data, insights, and stakeholders, you’ll identify opportunities to refine
targeting, increase efficiency, and improve the overall ad experience across our properties.
As Product Owner, you’ll be the bridge between tech, sales, and operations - keeping
teams aligned and focused on delivering high-quality ad solutions that meet business needs.

What will be your key responsibilities:

  • Explore new opportunities: Proactively identify and champion opportunities to enhance the customer experience and improve advertiser satisfaction.
  •  Lead the team: Manage a high-performing tech team that executes a mix of business solutions and functional improvements.
  • Manage the pipeline: Oversee and manage incoming product requests and keep the team’s backlog organized, helping the team deliver both quick wins and larger projects effectively.
  • Shape the vision & roadmap: Work closely with the Tribe Lead to define and carry out a clear product vision and roadmap.
  • Communicate with stakeholders: Keep stakeholders in the loop, providing regular updates and clear communication throughout each stage of the product’s journey.

What experience should you have:

  • Experience: At least 5 years as a Product Owner or similar role, with a track record of taking ideas from concept to completion, managing backlogs, and delivering results. Understanding of trends and best practices in digital advertising and AdTech is a plus.
  • Technical knowledge: Familiarity with digital advertising requirements. Strong technical background and understanding Agile development principles are plus.
  • Data-driven decision making: Ability to analyze data and make smart, impactful decisions based on insights.
  • Communication skills: Strong stakeholder management and communication abilities to ensure alignment and transparency across departments.
  • Innovative mindset: Ability to challenge the status quo and present creative solutions to complex challenges.
  • Industry Awareness: Maintain proactive awareness and understanding of AdTech trends, including AI-driven advertising, programmatic advancements, and measurement innovations.
  • Results-oriented: Demonstrated focus on achieving outcomes, not just following  processes.
