Product Owner (Operations)

 The role of a Product Owner is tasked to lead a key innovation projects in operations domain and make sure to maximise value delivered to the company. Product Owner (PO) works with our innovation teams in Operational Excellence Tribe and leads improvement initiatives in a given domain. Main tasks include: analysing and improving processes, working with a lot of data, confirming hypotheses about potential improvements and running pilot implementation of innovations across our sites.


What will be your key responsibilities:

  • Owns roadmap creation for a given domain
  • Bring ideas, build concepts and solutions for operations improvements whilst keeping focus on a big picture
  • Analyse data to identify constraints, gaps and opportunities
  • Define business benefits, prepare budgets and concept notes
  • Visualise processes with process maps (VSM)
  • Participate on project plans creation and risk analysis
  • Coordinate developments and implemmentations, perform post-implementation audit
  • Facilitate cooperation and communication with related departments and squads
  • Create and maintain management of change documentation and user manuals

What experience should you have:

  • Ability to quickly iterate, evaluate and make data driven decisions
  • Structured thinking
  • Practical experience with:
  • Process design and optimization in warehouse or production environment
  • and/or Lean management, Six Sigma, Value stream mapping
  • and/or warehouse layout design, planograms, space management
  • Experience or high affinity for IT and software development
  • Experience with agile environment - nice to have
  • Overview of best practice and trends in e-commerce and retail - nice to have
  • English language advance B2 minimum, Czech language and/or German is an advantage
  • Willingness to travel around 50% of the time
