QA Automation Engineer

• Perform manual testing where necessary, especially when hardware devices are involved in digital applications.
• Develop, maintain, and enhance automation testing scripts.
• Focus on testing and performance optimization (auxiliary services).
• Plan, execute, and integrate automated end-to-end test cycles into the overall testing workflow.
• Write and execute test cases based on new development requirements and integration systems.
• Ensure successful continuous integration and quality control through both automation and manual testing.
• Maintain high-quality solutions by leveraging automated testing.
• Gather and execute new data for load and performance testing.
• Collaborate closely with team members, including Product Owners, Technical Architects, Testers, and Developers, to understand both functional and technical requirements.
• Communicate effectively with external stakeholders to ensure product quality.

• 5+ years of software testing experience with strong knowledge of different testing levels, including functional, integration, and system testing.
• At least 1 year of experience with Agile Testing.
• Familiarity with various test design techniques.
• Experience in test automation with Cypress and TypeScript.
• Hands-on experience creating automated tests using TypeScript (or JavaScript).
• Proficiency in tools such as JIRA, HP ALM, TestFlow, TeamCity, SharePoint, and Confluence.
• Experience in API/web service testing using tools like SoapUI, Postman, etc.
• Proficiency with SQL.
• Knowledge of Agile Software Development (SCRUM, Kanban, SAFe) and an understanding of the role of testing in quality-focused Agile projects.
• Strong communication skills and an analytical mindset to evaluate results.
• A proactive approach to work and strong collaboration skills.
• Fluency in English; German is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications

• ISTQB Certified Tester Foundation Level or Agile Tester Foundation Level certification.
