  • Establish quality metrics and continuously improve testing standards and processes.

Manual and Functional Testing

  • Design and execute detailed functional, regression, integration, and exploratory test cases.
  • Collaborate with product and engineering teams to validate requirements and acceptance criteria.
  • Perform risk-based testing, prioritizing efforts based on business impact and technical complexity.

Test Automation and Framework Development

  • Design, build, and maintain scalable automated test frameworks from the ground up.
  • Develop UI automation using tools such as Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or equivalent frameworks.
  • Implement and maintain API and integration test automation using tools such as Postman, RestAssured, or similar.
  • Ensure test reliability, maintainability, and performance through clean architecture and best practices.

CI/CD and DevOps Integration

  • Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines using tools such as GitLab Pipelines, Jenkins, CircleCI, or equivalent systems.
  • Ensure automated test execution as part of build and deployment workflows.
  • Analyze pipeline results, troubleshoot failures, and optimize execution time and stability.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner closely with developers, product managers, and DevOps engineers to embed quality throughout the SDLC.
  • Review requirements and technical designs to ensure testability and coverage.
  • Advocate for quality best practices and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

What experience should you have:

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in QA, test engineering, or related roles.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate quality risks clearly.

Nice to Have

  • Programming proficiency in Python, JavaScript, C#, or similar languages.
  • Experience contributing to or reviewing unit and integration tests alongside development teams.
  • Familiarity with test-driven development (TDD) or behavior-driven development (BDD) practices.
