Scala/Data Engineer

Our client is a Polish company dedicated to advancing the rapid development of the digital finance sector in Poland.

We are looking for a senior candidate to start ASAP. The length of the project is 1 year.

What will be your key responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain software features using Scala for Standalone Activations Audience Delivery Products.
  • Implement data processing pipelines with Apache Beam and BigQuery.
  • Manage workflows using Airflow.
  • Collaborate on architectural design discussions for scalable solutions.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.

What experience should you have:

  • Scala
  • BigQuery
  • Apache Beam
  • Airflow
  • Spark
  •  5+ years of software development experience.
  • Experience with distributed systems, microservices architecture, and cloud-based technologies (GCP).
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in a Scrum team.
