Senior Automation Engineer (Agentic AI focus)

To our Smart Automation Team of digital experts, we are searching for a colleague who will join us on our digitalization journey and will help us design and build the next generation of automation solutions using RPA, AI and Agentic AI technologies.

We work in a HYBRID STYLE of working with the possibility of home office, but twice a week we meet in the office for meetings.

What will be your key responsibilities:

  • Analyse business needs and design smart automation solutions, combining RPA, AI, and emerging agentic technologies.
  • Take full ownership of End-to-End delivery: requirement analysis, design, implementation, testing, deployment, and support.
  • Develop agentic AI prototypes, autonomous workflows, and intelligent assistants.
  • Apply and enhance our automation solution portfolio (e.g. Blue Prism / ABBYY / ChatGPT and other AI tools).
  • Participate in creating our future AI architecture, standards, guidelines, and best practices.
  • Drive research and development: evaluate new technologies, test emerging frameworks, and create reusable components for internal use.
  • Implement improvements that increase process efficiency, accuracy, and scalability.
  • Provide expert consulting for automation and AI topics, including training sessions for internal stakeholders.
  • Build positive, lasting relationships with internal customers and support them on their digitalization journey.
  • Contribute to complex projects and support the team with technical expertise in AI.
  • Contribute to DevOps/MLOps tasks, including monitoring, optimization, and continuous improvement of AI solutions.

What experience should you have:

MUST HAVE

  • University degree ideally in Computer Science, Informatics, Engineering, or a similar field.
  • 5 years of work experience in IT area (AI, Technology, Automation, Digitalization, IT Consulting)
  • 3 years of software development experience (e.g. Python/C++, SQL)
  • Hands-on experience with LLM/AI orchestration framework
  • Proven experience with international solution delivery
  • Hands-on experience with AI-based solutions, LLMs, or autonomous/agentic systems – strongly preferred.

NICE TO HAVE

  • RPA solutions like Blue Prism, UI Patch or Automation Anywhere
  • Scripting languages Bash/PowerShell
  • Experience with clouds platforms (AWS, MS Azure, Google Cloud), APIs and integrations
  • Experience with AI/ML tools or frameworks
  • Understanding of SAP tables, data structures and reporting
  • Experience in the business processes and operations of a finance shared service centre
  • Experience in internal/external consulting

SOFT SKILLS:

  • Excellent communication skills and ability to translate technical topics into business language
  • Strong presentation and negotiation skills
  • Able to work independently while being a strong team player
  • Analytical, conceptual and solution-oriented mindset
  • Strong sense of ownership, responsibility and customer-centricity
  • Willingness to travel (mainly team offsite), example: in Bratislava (monthly/quartely basis), Romania or Germany (yearly basis)
  • Flexible, proactive, self-driven and eager to learn
  • Innovative mindset with a passion for emerging technologies and continuous development
