Senior Business Analyst

We’re looking for a Senior Business Analyst to support us on a short-term, high-impact initiative. This is a 3-month contractor role, ideal for someone who can hit the ground running, bring immediate value, and work autonomously in a fast-paced environment.

In this role, you will play a key part in bridging business needs and technical solutions, ensuring the seamless translation of requirements into scalable, actionable outcomes. We are looking for someone who doesn’t just gather requirements — but challenges them, refines them, and turns them into value-driven deliverables.

What will be your key responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities:

  •  Quickly understand business context and existing systems/processes
  •  Ability to jump into complex scenarios and deliver impact fast
  •  Conduct gap analysis and identify process enhancements
  • Gather, analyze, and document business requirements from cross-functional teams
  • Translate business needs into clear, concise, and testable functional requirements (BRDs, user stories, acceptance criteria, flowcharts)
  • Facilitate workshops, stakeholder interviews, and requirement elicitation sessions
  • Collaborate with developers, testers, and product managers throughout the software development lifecycle

What experience should you have:

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of experience in business analysis, ideally in enterprise environments
  • Strong understanding of both Agile and Waterfall methodologies
  • Hands-on experience with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, or similar
  • Challenge assumptions rather than just documenting them
  • Proven ability to create BRDs, process models, user journeys, and mockups
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Analytical thinker with a solution-oriented mindset

What do you get in return:

Our team is composed of experts in their fields who are passionate about delivering high-quality work and maintaining a positive work culture. You will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on our company's posture.

  • Work remotely from anywhere in the world, with a fully remote team, and enjoy a mutually agreed schedule that fits your needs. (Core US working hours, EST time zone)
  • Work primarily with US-based colleagues, providing you with the opportunity to collaborate with people from diverse backgrounds and skill sets.
  • Work in a supportive environment that values your contribution and provides you with the resources and training you need to grow in your career.
  • Enjoy a 40-hour work week that provides you with a healthy work-life balance, and the time to pursue your personal and professional goals outside of work.
