Senior RTR Accountant

The Senior RTR Accountant is a key member of the Group Finance Centre, reporting to the RTR Team Leader. This role is responsible for overseeing RTR accounting activities across the Rohlik Group and its related entities, ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and compliance of financial records. The position involves leading month-end closings, managing complex reconciliations, supporting audits, and driving process improvements to enhance efficiency and data quality. What will be your key responsibilities:

  • Lead the month-end closing process, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting across multiple entities.
  • Prepare and review journal vouchers, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
  • Execute and manage the closing calendar, coordinating activities to meet strict deadlines.
  • Ensure high-quality reconciliations, identifying and resolving discrepancies proactively.
  • Perform analytical reviews of financial data to ensure accuracy, identify discrepancies, and highlight opportunities for process and reporting improvements.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders (finance, tax, treasury, and operations) to improve financial processes and reporting accuracy.
  • Participate in process automation, system transitions, and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce manual workload.

What experience should you have:

  • Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or Finance (or equivalent professional qualification).
  • 6+ years of hands-on accounting experience, particularly in financial reporting, month-end close, and reconciliations.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles (IFRS/GAAP), financial controls, and audit requirements.
  • Proven ability to analyse financial data, identify trends, and provide meaningful business insights.
  • Experience supporting audits and ensuring compliance with financial regulations.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
  • Fluent in English (spoken and written)
