As a leading corporate venture builder in Europe and the MENA region, we specialise in crafting innovative ventures that uniquely improve people's lives, often exploring uncharted territories. The role of Senior Venture Developer is crucial, involving identifying, developing, and expanding entrepreneurial opportunities for our clients, with a strong focus on company-wide venture development and revenue growth initiatives. We seek an individual to lead a project team, providing expertise in an end-to-end approach, from conceptualisation to Go-to-Market.

Our diverse multinational team primarily operates across Europe and the Middle East, requiring individuals with a keen understanding of various mentalities, cultures, and modes of thinking. We seek a seasoned venture developer capable of leading a co-creation stream and sub-clusters (up to 5 VCC products) with exceptional delivery. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a technology startup environment, a growing technology company, or a university technology commercialisation program directly related to venture development is essential.

What we need from a Senior Venture Developer

  • Ensuring the successful collaboration between our portfolio companies and operational teams through excellent project management and business development.
  • Supporting the growth of the business in partnership with the founding team.
  • Addressing ad-hoc activities, from building production, distribution logistics, or customer service areas to analysing, planning, and implementing given strategies.
  • Independently managing all streams, including stakeholder management, customers, financial modelling, etc.
  • Defining, managing, and delegating work packages to VDs/VAs.
  • Developing team members (VDs/VAs).
  • Providing support for activities outside the VD.
  • Being accountable for internal project communication ensures a smooth communication flow with the client.
  • Continuously monitoring and reporting on our portfolio companies in collaboration with our management team.

  • Demonstrated ability to seamlessly integrate into team dynamics, fostering open communication with internal and external stakeholders, focusing on technology venture opportunities.
  • Comprehensive understanding of the issues and challenges inherent in venture development.
  • Proven capability to cultivate mutually beneficial partnerships with industry, nonprofits, government agencies, and investors.
  • Extensive experience in technology licensing.
  • A track record of successfully raising capital for early-stage companies.
  • A clear and thorough understanding of the startup landscape at regional, national, and global levels, including proficiency in accessing investment from global and national venture capital firms.
  • Skill in crafting and effectively conveying compelling narratives, including developing persuasive pitch decks.
  • Proficient computer skills, a solid grasp of the online environment, and a foundational understanding of software technology.
