Strategic Purchaser
As a Strategic Purchaser, you will drive procurement excellence for strategical material groups. You will be responsible for market analysis, supplier selection, contract negotiations, and cost optimization initiatives, ensuring alignment with our business objectives. Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, you will play a key role in developing and implementing innovative sourcing and supplier strategies. What will be your key responsibilities:
- Carrying out market and portfolio analyses for complex material groups with high strategic relevance
- Developing and implementing ideas for optimizing the total cost of ownership
- Analyzing and realizing potential savings based on key performance indicators
- Selecting and evaluating suppliers based on customer needs and the general conditions in terms of the procurement strategy
- Preparing and carrying out procurement negotiations for a defined complex material group (framework agreements and procurement terms and conditions)
- Being involved in the development of category strategies and in the development and implementation of the supplier strategy
- Devising the supplier strategy, including risk management
- Assuming responsibility for price and contract negotiations
- Implementing international sourcing strategies Identifying and realizing potential savings
- Coordinating procurement activities with Group companies
- Managing projects with strategic relevance
- Take over responsibility for Deutsche Telekom supply chain in core business
We work in a HYBRID STYLE of working with the possibility of home office, but twice a week we meet in the office for meetings.
The published salary is the minimum possible offer. The starting salary may be higher depending on the extent of fulfillment of the employee's requirements (education, language skills, required practice, personality assumptions and skills).
What experience should you have:
University education (Bachelor's degree)
University education (Master's degree)

- English - Advanced (C1)
- German - Advanced (C1)
What we expect:
- Minimum 3 years experience with strategic sourcing
- 2-3 years experience with project management is an advantage
- Strong negotiation skills
- Experience with stakeholder management
- Strong presentation and storytelling skills
- Strong analytical and structuring skills
- Consultancy or global/central strategic sourcing background in an international group
- Ability to summarize highly complex topics in short messages for up to C level of DT
- Excellent knowledge of German and English language
