Supervise a team in the administration and delivery of Payroll/HR Support tasks.
Responsible for the day-to-day management of international payroll operations including processing, reporting and compliance and time and attendance.
Responsible for delivery of payroll updates/dashboards/analytics to support business strategy and decision making using KPIs and customer service stats.
Proactive collaboration with Corporate and local Accounting and Finance teams to ensure monthly informative account analysis and reconciliations are performed timely and any corrective actions are completed within the agreed upon schedule.
Enhance payroll analytics and reporting capabilities to update stakeholders regularly and provide meaningful decision support for management. This will include preparation of monthly/quarterly payroll reporting package for leadership review.
Provide complete and accurate information and reporting to ensure that Novanta is compliant with monthly, quarterly, annual requirements.
Stay current on regulations, benefits changes, and labor laws impacting the payroll process, and stay compliant for all payroll tax jurisdictions.
Actively participate in Payroll/HR/Time and Attendance system upgrades or related system updates. ADP, Workday,
Coordinate with internal and external resources on year-end tax activities including adjustments to tax withholdings, submission of government employer reports, and distribution of wage and tax statements to employees.
Direct team in administration of HR Operations Support activities in the area of Compensation Administration, Compliance Training and Reporting, Equity Administration and documentation generation and maintenance.
