Team Lead / Senior Cloud & Platform Engineer (A1168)

1/3 of your time will be dedicated to team leadership, including regular one-on-ones, providing feedback, conducting performance reviews, setting goals, supporting career development, and helping the team overcome day-to-day challenges. The rest of your time will focus on hands-on engineering, designing and evolving cloud architecture built on Microsoft Azure and Kubernetes.

You will work with Kubernetes (AKS), Terraform, and Helm, develop microservices architecture, and optimize the performance, scalability, reliability, and cost efficiency of the production environment. Your responsibilities will also include monitoring, troubleshooting, CI/CD, and improving the security of cloud services. When designing new solutions, you will collaborate with senior engineers, architects, Product Owners, and the Security team, contributing to architectural discussions and threat modelling.

• Experience in software, cloud, or platform engineering.
• Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes, ideally AKS, including architecture, deployment, scaling, troubleshooting, networking, and security.
• Experience designing and operating microservices in Kubernetes.
• Advanced knowledge of Terraform and Infrastructure as Code principles.
• Good knowledge of Helm and Kubernetes-based application deployments.
• Practical experience with Microsoft Azure and integrating Kubernetes workloads with Azure services.
• Experience with containers and Docker.
• Experience with CI/CD, ideally Jenkins, and container image build and deployment workflows.
• Experience leading, mentoring, or coordinating engineers.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to give and receive feedback.
• Fluent English for daily communication.
