We are looking for a determined Test Engineer whose daily bread and butter will include testing, analyzing, and enhancing our systems to deliver seamless, bug-free experiences. You’ll collaborate closely with developers, project managers, and stakeholders to guarantee that every release meets the highest standards. We need you to actively contribute to the creation of testing strategies, automation processes, and continuous improvements, ensuring the right solutions are delivered with precision and efficiency.
We are an independent corporate venture builder with several offices, people all over the world, and a lot of day-to-day work. Our multinational team operates mainly throughout Europe and the Middle East. For them, we need solid and professional support.
The core qualities of Test Engineer
- At least 2 years of experience in manual testing
- Working experience in web-based and mobile applications
- Strong experience in creating test documentation (test cases, checklists, test plans, release notes)
- Understanding of Agile development processes
- Experience in working with JIRA or other project management tools
- Understanding of client-server architecture
- Experience in API testing (using Postman or any other tool for API testing)
- Strong skills in reading and analyzing logs to identify the root cause of defects using Kibana, Sentry
- Solid analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Sharp attention to detail
- Strong team player with excellent time management skills
- Proactive, results-oriented personality
- Open to learning new technologies and willing to share knowledge among our QA clan
- Czech and English language proficiency

What we need from the Test Engineer
- Analyze and clarify the requirements with a customer or a business analyst
- Collaborate with the development team to provide high-quality products
- Test the application and create defect reports for developers to ensure a top-quality product
- Estimate, prioritize, and plan manual testing activities
- Create and maintain test documentation
- Execute functional, regression, smoke, and integration testing
- Perform manual tests of mobile and web-based applications
- Identify problem areas and log them in a tracking system
- Support back-end development by testing and contributing during early module creation phases; work closely with back-end developers, offering feedback and understanding system calls and integration
- Basic knowledge of test automation tools (e.g., WebDriver.io or similar) with a proactive approach to growing these skills and taking on a future role in managing automated tests
- Knowledge of JavaScript
- Knowledge of SQL and experience with basic queries
- Use a test management system
