WebDev Department Lead

ABOUT THE DEPARTMENT:

Our web development is focused on data-intensive enterprise applications for industrial companies. For example, we’ve developed a service support app for technicians of farming robots or a web portal for servicing professional coffee machines. We often collaborate on projects with other departments: data engineering and data science.

YOUR ROLE:

Your role will be to create the department strategy for all its aspects - people, projects, skills, technology - and manage them. You will be responsible for strategic planning, standards, processes, and HR as well as ensuring quality of the projects and products.

You will:

• Define and implement the department strategy in alignment with Datamole’s vision and goals.
• Establish technical guidelines, standards and processes to deliver consistent, high-quality products and services.
• Keep the teams and department organized in an effective and efficient structure, including upgrading and reorganizing talent as required.
• Engage with customers and product owners.

YOUR PROFILE:

• Proven leadership skills
• Experience with leading multiple teams and multiple projects
• Tech. competence in web development
• Design and architecture skills
• A very good command of English and Czech

OUR WORK + TECH STACK

We do full stack web app development using the component-driven development approach.

Technologies we use:

• TypeScript, React, Redux
• Backend development in JavaScript/node.js
• Storybook
• Redux-Toolkit Query
• Nest.js
• Kubernetes (being able to write/deploy custom deployments; not need to be able to set up cluster)
• UXDocker and GitHub/GitLab actions
